No one has ruled the reality TV game over the past decade more than the Kardashians. The famous family has had their lives documented over several seasons and years, with many of the family members having families of their own now.
This year, it seems another rival show may be stepping onto the scene. Who’s the UK family poised to be the next Kardashians?
Stacey Solomon And Joe Swash Will Have Their Own Show
The new reality TV stars are Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash, who will have a series simply called Stacey And Joe that follows their family life. Unlike the Kardashians, Joe and Stacey don’t reside in a big city, but rather live in a place called Pickle Cottage, located in Essex. Instead of a drama-filled life in LA, their cast will feature their children and a variety of animals — including their two dogs and even four ducks.
The show will be aired on BBC One, with the aim of bringing viewers into the couple’s daily life. This isn’t the first time on-camera for either of the two; Joe works as an actor and Stacey is a former contestant from The X Factor, meaning they’ve both had their share of the spotlight up until now.

When asked about the series, Stacey shared that they were excited about bringing fans into their home, so to speak. She went on to say that it was something very new that they’d never experienced before:
2024 was the year me and Joe pushed ourselves out of our comfort zones – we’ve loved showing a different side to our family’s fun and chaos.
According to The BBC, the first season of the show was filmed throughout the summer and fall of last year, and while it’s set to air in the spring of 2025, they have yet to share an official release date.

The Show Offers A Look At Unconventional Family
Somewhat similar to The Kardashians, Stacey And Joe will also offer a look at a blended family. That is, on top of the three children that Stacey and Joe share together, the episodes will also feature Stacey’s two sons from two previous relationships. This means that the show will depict children of a range of ages, as Stacey’s eldest son, Zach, is already well into his high school years.
Though the setting may feel calmer than that of The Kardashians, Stacey admitted that it still might be higher energy than viewers who tune in may be expecting. In the aforementioned conversation with The BBC, she shared what she thought the show would be like:
There will be the normal madness of a family with lots of kids, plenty of animals and two busy parents.

The Kardashian clan has NOT had a stress-free holiday season this year.
When it came to letting a camera crew into their home, Stacey shared that she hoped it would bring happiness to those who chose to watch. “Through the laughter the tears & the craziness… We hope it makes you smile, feel good & hopefully enjoy getting to know us all a little more,” she said in an Instagram post from her personal account.
“Last year as a family we decided to say yes to more & do things we’d never done. We have spoken about making a documentary for a long time, lots of you have asked too,” the reality TV star wrote. “So here we go. A journey with us every second of the way,” she went on to add.
In the video teaser for the show that Stacey posted on her Instagram, everyone in the family appears happy and smiling, giggling and even rolling around the yard at points. In one clip, Joe jokingly points a hose at Stacey, who squeals and laughs as she runs away.
From what we’ve seen so far, the show seems to be a cuter, perhaps more wholesome look at family than The Kardashians offers. Indeed, the general tone seems to be much gentler and lighter, like tuning in won’t be all that different from escaping to the countryside oneself.
