People are searching more for A180 Crash as A mum and toddler have sadly passed away in an accident on the road.

Lucas Page and Nicola Courtney are the victims’ names. When the tragedy occurred, the Scunthorpe mother, 34, and her three-year-old boy were traveling on the A180 close to Immingham.

The 34-year-old Scunthorpe mother and her three-year-old boy are thought to have broken down in a live lane of the A180 near Immingham.

Around 8.45 pm on Friday, a driver remembered swerving around the “stranded” blue Ford Focus, and they reported it to the authorities. But at 9.06 pm, a white articulated vehicle struck the stopped car, and Nicola and Lucas perished instantly.

Before the collision, a woman claimed she had to “swerve” in the dark to avoid Nicola’s broken-down vehicle and contacted emergency services. According to witnesses, the Ford Focus was “stranded” in the left lane of the dual road before being hit by an HGV.

Police have asked for witnesses to come forward as they look into the collision. Regarding the accident, Humberside Police has reported itself to the Independent Office Police Complaints (IOPC).

Tributes have started flooding for the victims of the Scunthorpe family. One of Nicola’s “best” friends and her kid will be sorely missed by so many, according to a friend who posted a heartfelt tribute.

Another tribute stated that the news of the deaths of her close friend Nicola Courtney and baby Lucas left her in utter shock. They will be gone, and they said.

Others sent well regards to Nicola’s other children, who are currently motherless. What a terrible accident, said the note. I’m so sad to hear this. Nicola and Lucas, rest in peace.

“I experience a deep sense of sadness for their family and friends. They are in my prayers and thoughts at this difficult moment. I only wish the poor lads who lost their mother love and light.

According to a spokesperson for Humberside Police, the victims’ families continue to receive assistance from specially trained officers and cooperating agencies. They have requested that their privacy be respected during this extraordinarily trying time.

On March 10 at around 9.06 pm, a white articulated lorry was moving west along the A180 in Immingham between Stallingborough and Brocklesby when it struck a blue Ford Focus that was stopped and possibly in an active lane.
