Lagos: Sanwo-Olu Will Learn That Power Does Not Come From Bourdillon – LP Spokesperson

Okonkwo

A spokesperson for the Labour Party presidential campaign organization, Kenneth Okonkwo has called out Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu over his last minute effort to woo voters after allegedly ignoring them in the build-up to the March 18 governorship election.

Recall that Sanwo-Olu had refused to attend a debate organised for governors in the state.

Okonkwo predicted that the Labour Party would win the forthcoming governorship election in Lagos State.

Okonwo in a statement via his Twitter account on Monday also mocked the incumbent Lagos State Governor who doubles as the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Saturday’s election, saying the jitters of the Labour Party tsunami have caught up with him.

The Labour Party chieftain who asserted that the March 18 governorship election in Lagos won’t be business as usual said Sanwo-Olu will learn that power does not come from Bourdillon but power belongs to the people.

Bourdillon is the Lagos residence of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who is widely regarded as the political godfather of the state.

However, the actor/politician stated that Sanwo-Olu has been relying on support from his godfathers but is now running from pillar to post at the last minute to convince the people of Lagos to vote for him.

He however said the APC candidate would be shocked because the people are set to liberate Lagos State and vote for a new and free Lagos represented by the LP candidate, Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour.

“Sanwo-Olu was too big to join other contestants in Lagos State gubernatorial debate. He took Lagosians for granted because he thought that power comes from Bourdilion. He will learn on March 18 that power comes from the people. His recent voluntary humility of visiting everynook and cranny of Lagos to solicit for support must be disregarded as an exercise in hypocrisy. Lagosians must liberate Lagos from bullion van instigated democracy. Vote Gbadebo Chinedu Rhodes-Vivour of Labour Party for a new and free Lagos State. We moovee!!!” Okonkwo wrote on Twitter.
