Hollywood royalty has officially joined forces as Jasmin Lawrence, daughter of Martin Lawrence, and Eric Murphy, son of Eddie Murphy, recently got married in a private ceremony.
Eddie Murphy confirmed the news on The Jennifer Hudson Show, revealing that the couple wed nearly two weeks ago in a simple church ceremony with just the bride, groom, and a preacher.
Although both families had been preparing for a lavish event, Jasmin and Eric opted for a quiet celebration. Murphy joked that Martin Lawrence was probably relieved, as their ongoing debate about who would foot the wedding bill was no longer needed.
Jasmin, daughter of Patricia Southall, and Eric, son of Paulette McNeely, had been together for three years and got engaged just before Thanksgiving last year.
