Nollywood actor Charles Inojie is bidding farewell to the late actor Columbus Irisoanga.
Sharing a throwback photo of him with the late veteran, he revealed that he and other mentees from all over the world had bid eternal farewell to him. He described the deceased as a teacher, mentor and father.
Praying for him to rest in peace, Charles stated that the world would forever extol his legacy.

Kemi Filani reported in February that the actor had passed away. His colleague, Hilda Dokubo, posted the news on her Instagram page.
In an emotional post, she lamented that there can’t be a shortage of Angels in heaven and that the few ones on Earth are called home. Hilda expressed how heartbroken and heavy her heart was over the bad news.
Charles has been known to pay respect to many of his late colleagues.
When the heartbreaking news of the death of Cynthia Okereke made rounds, Charles took to Instagram to mourn her, revealing that the news of her death left him speechless. Praying for her to rest in peace, he promised to appreciate their friendship forever.
When Ada Ameh died, Charles, who played her on-screen husband in a TV series, described her as a ‘rare and vibrant gem.’ Inojie said everyone should celebrate her life because she is an icon who has, on a daily basis, put smiles on every face and spread love in every home.
The actor was among the few who visited the late Mr Ibu during his last days in the hospital. In a lengthy post on his social media page, he narrated his bittersweet encounter with him at the hospital and recounted his conversation with the actor.
In 2023, Charles had reasons to be grateful after his creator spared his life. The comic actor, in an Instagram post, shared his testimony as he narrated how he narrowly escaped death, but God came through for him to the devil’s utter disgrace.
In a different news, Inojie had expressed concern for the increasing rate at which many are entering into Nollywood. He lamented over the rate at which upcoming actresses are using the industry as grounds for their businesses. Describing them as daughters of Jezebel, he stated that they are on the hunt for Nollywood directors and producers to fall.
