Marcus Jordan Celebrates Sobriety Months After Shocking Drug Possession Arrest

Marcus Jordan, the son of basketball legend Michael Jordan, has announced that he has been sober for more than a month, following his shocking drug possession arrest earlier this year.

Jordan was charged with DUI, ketamine possession, and resisting arrest in early February after Florida cops found his vehicle trapped on train tracks. Jordan then reportedly entered a substance abuse treatment intervention program after the arrest went viral.

On Monday, Jordan shared an image of himself in a workout room with the caption “40 days sober and counting.”

Jordan found himself in cuffs after a late-night mishap left his SUV stranded on active railroad tracks and according to police, the smell of alcohol was strong. The arrest comes nearly a year after the rapper was spotted by paparazzi allegedly snorting a white powdery substance.

While he stayed silent when those images went viral, he finally broke his silence following the release of bodycam footage from his latest run-in with the law.
