Larsa’s breakup is bound to be a big chunk of her storyline because of the controversies that followed her relationship for almost two years. The Season 7 trailer of The Real Housewives of Miami proved to be a chaotic one with tears, disagreements, hugs, and new additions.

While a lot is going on in the trailer, Larsa Pippen can be seen in a series of flashbacks with her then-boyfriend, Marcus Jordan. In the flashback, he’s seen giving her a ring, which she says “fits like a glove.” Then, screenshots of tabloid headlines flood the screen, announcing that the pair broke up.

Later, Larsa is seen talking poorly about Lisa Hochstein’s boyfriend and arguing with Marysol Patton. Despite the disagreements with the other Housewives, Larsa appears to have a great time in Season 7, newly single and ready to mingle.

Why Did Larsa And Marcus Break Up?

In March 2024, Larsa joined the Amy and T.J. Podcast (via Bravo), where she discussed her relationship with Marcus more in-depth. The mother of four explained that after spending some time away from Marcus, she realized he wasn’t “her guy.” She explained, “I think when you’re alone, you kind of either miss the person or realize maybe you’re not my guy […] And I feel like that made me realize that I don’t think he’s my guy.”

Unlike the chaos that’s seen in the trailer, Larsa seemed positive about her breakup. “I feel like I have to be true to who I am, what I’m doing, and what he’s doing, you know?” Larsa explained, adding, “I want him to be happy. He’s a great guy, but I just don’t feel like it’s for me.”

The series took an eight-year hiatus afterSeason 3 because of low ratings, but eventually came back to Peacock for new seasons. A teaser for Season 7 was revealed after the three-part reunion for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ 14th season. “For years, people have been telling me not to trust certain people, and I think I wanted to fight that, to fight what they were telling me,” the model said. “But now I’m finally opening my eyes and seeing maybe they were right all along.”
