A video has captured the moment a humanoid robot attempted to attack its handler while trying to break free from restraints in a factory in China.
In the CCTV footage, the black robot could be seen attached to a miniature crane before it suddenly began swinging its arms back and forth.
As it flew into a rage and lashed out, a man seated at a computer swiftly ducked for cover, while another individual standing behind the robot hastily retreated.
Viewers have described the scene as “dystopian,” sparking debates about artificial intelligence and robotics safety.
