The Deputy National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Arch. Setonji Koshoedo has assumed office as the acting National Secretary of the party.
According to a statement on the PDP’s official X account on Wednesday, Koshoedo’s appointment is in line with the decision and directive of the National Working Committee (NWC) at its meeting on Tuesday, April 29, 2025.
Arch. Koshoedo met with the management staff of the PDP in his office at the party’s national secretariat, Abuja earlier on Wednesday morning.
The statement added that he assured of the commitment of the NWC to further unite, stabilize and energize the party.
The Imo State chapter of the PDP on Tuesday had endorsed the decision of the party’s NWC to sack Samuel Anyanwu as National Secretary and appoint Koshoedo as his replacement.
