Kim Kardashian has denied reports that she’s suing singer Lan Del Rey for $1 million over a sponsored SKIMS post.
According to reports, Kim was upset with Del Re after the singer allegedly failed to properly disclose a sponsored post for the shapewear brand. The post, published in February 2024, was a Valentine’s Day ad campaign for Kardashian’s shapewear brand, SKIMS.
The failure to do so reportedly put Kim in hot water with the nonprofit National Advertising Division.
A source close to Kim’s camp spoke with TMZ, a news outlet that called the reports “categorically false.”
Del Rey also addressed the rumors on Let’s Get Into It podcaster Sloan Hooks’ Instagram post.
“No no , this isn’t happening. Not as far as either one of us know. I don’t know where this started but if it does for some reason have to happen because of guidelines- then we will handle it. But never an end to a friendship,” she wrote.
