Relationships
Kourtney’s decade-long relationship with Scott Disick and her pregnancies (three – with son Mason Dash Disick in 2009, daughter Penelope Scotland Disick in 2012 and son Reign Aston Disick in 2014) were featured on her reality show, but when Disick was prepared to propose to her on an episode, she informed him that she worried marriage would change things, so he skipped the proposal. They had some issues along the way, including Kardashian’s concerns about Disick’s alcohol use, but generally worked to resolve these, with efforts including therapy and a break from alcohol. Their relationship ended in 2015.

Activism
Kourtney was named the “sustainability ambassador” for the brand Boohoo, with which she collaborated on a fashion line. Kardashian has drawn some criticism for accepting that role, with some public debate over whether it was genuine activism or “greenwashing.”. She has been involved in other eco-activism advocacy, but has been criticized for expressing those values while living a high-fashion life that is not exactly eco-friendly.
Controversies
As celebrities go, Kourtney’s list of controversies is relatively short and mundane. She and her family are regularly criticized for their carbon footprints, including an LA Times report that named her and Kim among the “worst culprits” for excessive water usage during California droughts, and their jet-setting lifestyle over all earns some criticism. She’s specifically been called a hypocrite for juggling that life with expressions of advocacy for sustainability and eco-friendly choices.
