Nkechi Blessing, the popular Nigerian actress, has expressed her deep frustration with the men who have been messaging her on WhatsApp, applying to be sugar boys.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, Nkechi revealed that these men have been promising to “service her well.”
The actress made it clear that she is not interested in being a sugar mummy and finds the messages “irritating and annoying.”
She stated that she had initially wanted to ignore the messages, but the constant influx of applications prompted her to speak out.
She emphasised that she is not a sugar mummy and is, in fact, looking for a sugar daddy herself.
She said: “Guys, there is something that has been bothering me for the past few months. I wanted to let it slide and not talk about it, but I realize that because I have kept quiet, it has been going on, and I am not finding it funny anymore.
“On my WhatsApp, I receive messages from people applying to be my sugar boy and promising to service me. It is very irritating and annoying.
“To whoever is sharing my number with people for sugar mummy purposes, anything you lay your hands on this year wouldn’t prosper. Because I don’t know you, I didn’t offend you and didn’t do you anything.
“So why are you sharing my number with sugar boys? As I dey like this I dey find person wey go help my life. I be like sugar mummy to you? It’s no longer funny. I cannot change my number because of you people; I am not a sugar mummy, me sef dey find sugar daddy as I Dey so. ENOUGH”.
