Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu on Monday, February 10, made an impromptu appearance before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court.
The IPOB leader’s appearance followed an order of the judge last week for him to appear before the court following her previous move to recuse herself from the trial of the IPOB leader.
During his appearance, the IPOB leader who had earlier also applied for the recusal of the judge from his trail over issue of jurisdiction said the court also lacked knowledge of the matter.
Kanu also said he had no confidence in the judge continuing with his matter.
Giving her ruling at the trial on Monday, February 10, Justice Nyako informed the parties involved that the Chief Judge of the Federal High Court did not accept her recusal.
She added that the chief judge also went ahead and referred the case back to her.
Justice Nyako further adjourned his case indefinitely.
