Osun House of Assembly, on Monday, organized a three-day service delivery training for its staff in order to enhance the quality of legislative services to residents of the state.
Hon. Adewale Egbedun, Speaker, Osun House of Assembly, declared open the three-day training themed: “Towards Ensuring Effective And Efficient Legislative Service Delivery in Osun State.
Egbedun, in his address, admonished the staff to participate actively, share experiences, and ask questions.
According to the speaker, the training is not just an opportunity to learn, but also to network and build relationships that will benefit your work in the assembly.

“The strength of democracy lies in the ability to collaborate and support one another.
“As public servants, we are entrusted with the responsibility of serving our constituents and upholding the values of transparency, accountability, and integrity.
“This training is a vital step in equipping all of you with the necessary skills and knowledge to meet the evolving demands of our roles.

“Together, we can enhance the quality of governance in Osun State and make a meaningful impact in the lives of our people,” he said.
Also, Mr. Isarel Oyekunle, Chairman, Osun House of Assembly Service Commission, thanked Gov. Ademola Adeleke of Osun and the speaker for approving the exercise.
Oyekunle also requested for the approval of a pension board for the state assembly, similar to Ondo and Ekiti States, to further enhance staff welfare.
