Blink 182 drummer Travis Barker and former Playboy model Shanna Moakler were married for four years before splitting in 2008. The couple had a rocky relationship for years, regularly reuniting and separating.
During their tumultuous romance, the couple had two children, Landon and Alabama, and landed their own reality TV show. After the pair split for good in 2008, the pair publicly berated each other and became embroiled in a messy custody case.

According to PEOPLE, Travis Barker and Shanna Moakler started dating in the summer of 2002, and the couple attended the MTV Video Music Awards together in August. Travis and his first wife, Melissa Kennedy, divorced that same month after just a year of marriage.

“I wanted nothing more [than] to overcome the challenges we faced but failed,” she wrote on MySpace, according to PEOPLE. “I truly believe that everything happens for a reason … I have been truly blessed with great family and friends and of course my children.”
Their love affair did not end there, however. The couple met again in October 2006 at a Halloween party at the Playboy Mansion. The next day, Travis arrived at Shanna’s house with a romantic confession. “I thought, at the end of the discussion, he and I could work towards being friends and that could work towards getting back together,” Moakler told PEOPLE. “He said he was in love with me.”
He later admitted that he was only going to say he was “ready to be her friend.” Photos from that Halloween party caught Travis kissing Paris Hilton, forcing Shanna to end their reconciliation.
