The Police Has Refused To Release Speed Darlington Or Take Him Before A Judge To Face Trial – Lawyer Deji Adeyanju

According to Deji, the police refused to release Speedy on grounds that the last time he was released on bail, he failed to show up when he asked to.

Nigerian human rights lawyer and activist, Deji Adeyanju, has disclosed that the Imo State Police Command has refused to release singer, Speed Darlington or take him before a judge to face trial.

The singer who was arrested in October over a petition written against him by his colleague, Burna Boy, was re-arrested in Owerri, in November for jumping bail.

In a post shared on his page this morning, Adeyanju said the singer has not been released nor has he been charged to court. According to Deji, the police refused to release Speedy on grounds that the last time he was released on bail, he failed to show up when he asked to.
