Recently, midfield maestro Kevin De Bruyne spoke up about his contract situation, with one particular sentence putting caution into the air.
The Belgian has previously been linked with a move away from the club, with the Saudi Pro League proving to be his most likely destination. Persistent injuries have prevented the 33-year-old from making a significant impact this season.
Moreover, the player’s contract also expires at the end of the season, with multiple rumors coming up surrounding his future.

In a recent press conference, Kevin De Bruyne appeared to ‘disagree’ with Portuguese teammate Bernardo Silva. Responding to the latter’s claim that Manchester City are in a ‘dark place’, De Bruyne stated that a different set of words will best describe the situation.

He also described the recent defeats as being ‘a bit all over the place’. In the course of the last five games, the club have broken several unwanted records. City lost its first Premier League game in which Erling Haaland scored a goal against Brighton while the club is currently going through its first form in 18 years.
City’s next game is against Feyenoord in the Champions League. The PL fixture against Liverpool on the 1st of December has the power to determine the future of City’s season.
