Filed in the Los Angeles Superior Court, the lawsuit seeks $5 million in damages for reputational harm, emotional distress, and financial loss. Peak alleges that Minaj defamed him by calling him a stalker during a 2017 incident and claims that Kenneth Petty “battered” him at a Super Bowl event in 2020. Minaj’s lawyer, Judd Burstein, has dismissed the lawsuit as a baseless attempt to exploit the rapper financially.
