The internet has been divided following a recent prophecy from South African pastor John Anosike about music star Davido.
In a video making rounds online, the clergyman, during a service in his church, New World Faith Ministries in Cape Town, claimed that God has anointed Davido to save Nigeria’s economy and become the country’s president, bringing significant transformation.
Anosike also said Davido’s secular music career and his recent reunion with his daughter are signs of his destined greatness.
“God has put oil on him. He calls him my servant. For he shall be the president of Nigeria, and he shall unite the country. Yet this guy is a circular musician, but chosen by God in the realm of the spirit. In the spirit realm, I saw him kneeling before Jesus, and the Lord took a jar of oil and poured it upon his head and declared to me that he had been appointed to unite the country.”

Business magnate and politician Senator Ben Murray Bruce predicted in an interview that Davido could someday become the Governor of Osun State. He explained how the singer’s political potential isn’t only tied to his fame and his family’s significant political background, but that he has the political DNA necessary for a successful political career.
Over the years, Davido has become actively involved in the politics of Nigeria, especially in Osun State.
During the Governorship campaign in Osun State, Davido actively campaigned for his uncle, and when he won, Davido celebrated openly online.
Last year, he celebrated his uncle on his latest finished project in Osun State. The project in question was a building project in Osun.
Also, last year, Davido revealed why he was interested in the Edo State gubernatorial election, as he questioned the police directive for Edo citizens. He declared INEC the most dangerous institution in Nigeria as he admonished Edo indigenes not to bow to them. He noted how he had to fight and rant for the Osun Election to be a success in 2022 and was waiting for Osun 2026.
