Nollywood actress Regina Daniels has publicly accused fellow actress Angela Okorie of once pursuing her husband, billionaire politician Ned Nwoko, amid a heated online clash between the two stars.
The feud erupted after Angela Okorie, during an Instagram Live session, spoke about forgiving Mercy Johnson and reflected on her recent health battles. She also called on Mercy to make amends with those she may have wronged in the past.
Regina Daniels, a close associate of Mercy Johnson, was quick to defend her, taking offense at Angela’s remarks and lashing out in a series of online posts. The situation intensified when Angela Okorie threw jabs at Regina, particularly criticizing her marriage to Ned Nwoko due to their significant age gap.
Not one to back down, Regina Daniels hit back forcefully. In an Instagram post, she accused Angela of hypocrisy, claiming that she once tried to pursue the same man she now criticizes.
“He is certainly not your regular old man. He is everything your kind prays for but can’t attract. Don’t get me started to tell the world how you were chasing this same old man,” Regina wrote.
She also cautioned Angela against drawing comparisons between them, calling it disrespectful. The actress and mother of two further stated that she has surpassed Angela Okorie both in her acting and music career, and doesn’t need controversy to stay relevant.
“Age?. It’s just a number. What really counts is how you’ve lived, what you have built and who you’ve become. The roads I’ve walked, the milestones I’ve hit with grace and not disgrace are places your bitterness will ever,“ Regina concluded.
