Controversial street-hop singer Portable has unleashed a fiery tirade against skit maker and content creator Carter Efe following a disagreement over a TikTok live stream appearance fee.
The clash began when Carter Efe reportedly reached out to Portable, requesting him to join one of his TikTok live sessions. However, things took a turn after Portable demanded a whopping ₦10 million for the appearance a price that stunned Carter.
Reacting publicly, Carter Efe expressed disbelief at the demand, saying:
“How much we dey make for the live stream? I just tire,”
Portable, never one to back down, responded in a strongly-worded video. He accused Carter Efe of trying to exploit him, just as he allegedly did to his former signee, Young Duu.
“Thief, you ripped my boy. You carry am go Lekki, you no give am food chop, buy am car, or clothes. You wan use me? Bring money first!” Portable shouted.
He further claimed that Young Duu might have been in a better situation today if he had listened to his advice about charging for appearances.
“Na Young Duu no get sense, now dem don use am. I dey tell am that time, when they call you, ask for money,”
This latest outburst rekindles memories of the past fallout between Carter Efe and Young Duu, whose partnership collapsed amid allegations of exploitation and unmet promises.
