Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe is celebrating her stepson, Jamal, as he graduates from high school.

Kemi Filani reported that her marketer husband, Kazim Adeoti, had announced via his Instagram page that his son had graduated from high school and gained admission into the University of North Dakota.

Beaming with pride, Kazim sang the praises of his son as he noted how his achievements reflected his hard work. The father of four stated that he believes in his son and is beyond proud of the young man he has become.

Taking to his comment section, Mercy congratulated him on his new journey.

“Congratulations, Jamal”, she wrote.

It isn’t surprising that the actress shows love to her stepson. Back in 2022, when Jamal celebrated his birthday, Mercy joined his father in celebrating him.

Recall that Mercy Aigbe made headlines in 2022 when she finally came clean about her relationship with married Marketer, Kazim Adeoti, who shares four kids with his first wife. Despite the heavy criticisms and backlash the couple received, their love seems to wax stronger daily.

The movie star had surprised many when she converted to Islam following her marriage and had given herself a Muslim name, Hajia Minnah.

In an interview, Aigbe opened up on her marriage to Kazim Adeoti, which she gushed over. She revealed that her love for her husband made her change her decision to become a Muslim, stating that love came calling for her and she loved what they shared as friends.

Recently, Aigbe addressed negative comments about her turning her husband, a father of four, to dense. The mother of two made it known that their negative comments were just noise as she questioned how their lives were faring.

Also, in the interview, Aigbe revealed that her family were against her remarriage, especially due to her age. However, she didn’t bow to them because she knew what she wanted.
