Jamie Foxx joked about Sean “Diddy” Combs’ ongoing legal issues during a recent stand-up performance.
Fox performed at The Comedy Club in Los Angeles, where he was captured on video making the following remarks:
“I don’t know if he’s going to jail but he’s a nasty motherf–ker! Am I right? Especially for our community. White people, it’s cool, but for Black people, like, that was our hero! All that goddamn baby oil, boy,” he said.
Foxx continued: “For the Black people in here, you know how that hurts us. ‘Cause Diddy was, ‘It’s all about the Benjamins.’ That was our whole culture. Now, ‘It’s all about the baby oil.’”
The comedian has repeatedly denied rumors that he was hospitalized after a disagreement with Diddy in 2023.
During a recent roundtable discussion with The Hollywood Reporter, Foxx stated, “No, Puffy didn’t try to kill me.”
He added that despite being in excellent health, he suffered a serious medical event that required immediate surgery.
In his Netflix stand-up special, What Had Happened Was, Foxx further dismissed the rumors, jesting about leaving Diddy’s parties early because “something didn’t look right,” referencing the controversial nature of those events.
