“I can do it with my eyes closed, even though I’m judging clothes, so I have to have my eyes open, but I can do it with my eyes closed,” Klum told People in a recent interview. “I just love fashion so much, and I love how interested they are and how they’re champing at the bit to get a spot in the fashion industry. So, it’s so fun to give them a platform to show what they can do.”

A teaser for the upcoming Project Runway season has been released, in which Klum states: “I’m back, and it’s good to be home.” The short clip ends with her saying, “Get in, or you’re out.” Fans have reacted to the clip, sharing their excitement. “I’m genuinely excited that Heidi Klum is returning to Project Runway! In addition to the information about when Project Runway Season 21 will air, we also know Klum will host and judge the season and be joined by fellow judges Nina Garcia, Michael Kors, and Law Roach. Fashion designer and former Project Runway winner Christian Siriano will serve as a mentor to the contestants.
When Klum left the show in 2017, she released an emotional statement about her reasons. “After 16 incredible seasons, I am saying ‘Auf Wiedersehen’ to Project Runway, a show that I was honored to host and help create. I am incredibly proud of the show, and it will always have a special place in my heart,” she said, per People. “I am so appreciative of the dedicated fans, and most of all, I am grateful that we could shine a light on creativity and help launch so many talented designers’ careers.”
At the time, Klum and Gunn also announced the creation of their new project, Making the Cut, which aired for three seasons.
