Love on the Spectrum first premiered on Netflix in 2022, and is an adaptation of the Australian version which first launched in 2019. The reality TV show follows young adults in the neurodivergent community as they navigate and explore romantic connections with the help of coaches and the guidance of family members.
Each season introduces new individuals seeking meaningful relationships while also revisiting familiar faces from previous seasons. Viewers have followed many of these young people on their journeys, with several successfully finding love. With Season 3 being a hit with viewers, they are hoping that the show returns for a fourth season with new castmates and returning ones.

Will There Be A Fourth Season Of Love On The Spectrum?
The seven-episode series of Love on the Spectrum Season 3 was released in April, but fans are already eager to know if a fourth season has been green-lit. The show has become a fan-favorite with viewers following a group of new and old cast members who step out of their comfort zones and find romantic connections.
Fans got their wish after Netflix announced on May 14th that the show would return for another season. However, what isn’t yet known is if the new season will follow series regulars while also introducing viewers to new faces.
Love on the Spectrum Season 3 cast | Relationship status |
---|---|
Abbey and David | Still together |
Adan | Single |
Dani | In a relationship |
Connor | In a relationship |
Madison | In a relationship |
Tanner | Single |
James | In a relationship |
Pari | In a relationship |
The report also indicated that Season 4 will likely premiere in 2026, assuming the production schedule follows the same pattern as previous seasons. Netflix announced Season 3 in April 2024, with filming beginning shortly after the following month. The season was then released on April 2, 2025, with the same format of seven episodes, all released on the same day. Based on this timeline, it’s reasonable to expect that filming for Season 4 is either fast approaching or already underway, with a likely release next year.
Will Season 4 Continue To Follow Series Regulars?
Given the format of the previous seasons, it’s safe to assume that Season 4 will continue to follow familiar faces whether they are currently in a relationship or still seeking their perfect partner.
As seen in Season 3, the series continued to follow Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman, a couple first introduced in Season 1. The couple celebrated their three-year dating anniversary on the season finale. Fans also watched as Abbey sang an original song, called “Boyfriend Forever.” Speaking to Tudum, she shared, “I wrote this song last summer, and I wanted to do a tribute to David, because he is the best boyfriend, and I never want to lose him. My favorite part of the song is [when] I say at the beginning, ‘You’re the lion to my lioness, the milk to my Chardonnay,’ because he drinks milk and I like wine and we both LOVE lions.'”
Fans have also followed James B. Jones since the very first season. He was unable to find a partner in the first two seasons, and struck out with a woman named Sonia. However, he did find his perfect match with a woman named Shelley Wolfe, whom he met online.
“I love her very much, since she and I have much in common, but we also bring out the best in each other and inspire each other to grow and improve as people. I am so very glad that she and I have met!” James told Tudum.
Dani Bowman is also a series regular. Dani formed a solid relationship with Adan Correa in the second season, but fans learned that the two parted ways the following season. According to Dani, they were no longer “on the same page” as Adan wanted to “take a step backward — no kissing, no intimacy, nothing.” However, Dani has found herself in a new relationship with police detective Henry, as Adan is currently single.
Season 3 also followed Connor Tomlinson from Season 2, who is now happily in a relationship with Gerogie Harris. Their sweet connection truly made viewers believe in love again. Tanner Smith also returned, and while he hasn’t found a romantic partner yet, fans were moved by his unwavering optimism and the support he received from those around him.
New cast members for Season 3 included Madison Marilla and Pari Kim, who have both happily found partners.

Why Love On The Spectrum Has Become A Fan-Favorite Reality Show
Love on the Spectrum truly sets itself apart from other reality TV shows as it offers an authentic portrayal of love. Viewers have found it endearing as it showcases that anyone and everyone is deserving of love and forming meaningful connections.
In a statement to Tudum after announcing the fourth season, co-creator Karina Holden shared just how much the show has brought awareness and acceptance to those in the neurodiversity community.
“The show itself has actually become the template for people to then think, ‘That’s what love can look like in my life, and I can be like that character who doesn’t necessarily fit the typical stereotype,'” she shared.
Karina continued, “The uniqueness of individuals within Love on the Spectrum has allowed people to be confident to pursue their version of relationships and friendships and love.”
Love of the Spectrum Season 3 has been called “the best season” by fans. Viewers have been rooting for the series, whether they have continued to showcase their successful relationships or continue to hold out for hope that there is someone out there for them no matter how many awkward first dates they go on.
“This show literally lights up a dark world right now. We need to take notes from all the cast members on how to be good human beings; our world would be such a better, more accepting, and loving place,” a comment on a Reddit post read.
“Yeah, I have cried so many times watching it too but, in the end they’re all just like any of us, wanting to find love and partner. I know they face way more obstacles than someone who isn’t neurodivergent but they also can teach us all about resilience and alchemizing difficult situations into something to learn from, love from, or laugh from!!” Another person wrote.
While fans may have to wait a little longer for Season 4, all three seasons (including the Australian version) are currently available on Netflix, offering plenty of heartfelt moments to revisit in the meantime.
