Drama Unfolds as Nneoma Ukpabi Fires Back at Rita Edochie for Calling Her Outfit Indecent

Nollywood actress Nneoma Ukpabi has issued a stern warning to veteran actress Rita Edochie after receiving backlash for her daring outfit at colleague Ruby Ojiakor’s wedding.

Nneoma, who trended online for wearing a cleavage-baring gown to the event, drew mixed reactions from the public. While some praised her fashion confidence, others criticized the look as inappropriate for a wedding.

Rita Edochie was among those who spoke out, condemning the trend of what she called “indecent dressing.” In a post, she lamented the decline in modesty, stating:

“This disturbing trend has reached alarming proportions, with many individuals embracing indecent dressing 👗 as a norm. The consequences of this behavior are far-reaching, contributing to a decline in moral values and respect for oneself and others,”

Unfazed by the remarks, Nneoma Ukpabi fired back in a fiery online post. She directly warned Rita to stop mentioning her name, threatening to reveal personal secrets if the attacks persisted.

“Remove my name from your mouth or I will open your file. Nobody has a monopoly on words. If you don’t respect yourself, I’ll show you that I’m not the one to mess with,” Nneoma declared.

Their heated exchange has since gone viral, fueling debate on social media about generational values, freedom of expression, and public shaming in Nollywood.
