DDG has filed for a temporary emergency order against his ex-girlfriend, Halle Bailey, weeks after she was granted a restraining order against him.
DDG’s legal team is pushing to stop Halle Bailey from taking their 18-month-old son, Halo, to Italy, and they’re also asking the court to hit pause on the domestic violence restraining order hearing initially set for June.
DDG is making serious allegations against Halle Bailey in new court docs, claiming she used emotional manipulation and threats of self-harm throughout their nearly three-year “on-again, off-again” relationship.

He says the Disney star once threatened to abort their child unless they got back together during her pregnancy in 2023. In another incident, DDG claims Halle allegedly grabbed his legally owned firearm and left their home without telling anyone where she was.

DDG also accuses Halle of stalking, as well as physical and verbal abuse during their time together.
“Given these threats to self-harm,” he wrote, “I believe the Petitioner is a threat to our son’s safety such that she should not be allowed to take Halo out of the country to Italy for a period of two months.”
On social media, Halle supporters say that some of the text messages are proof that the actress was suffering from severe postpartum depression.
The actress announced her diagnosis last April.
“I have severe, severe postpartum [depression], and I don’t know if any new moms can relate, but it’s to the point where it’s really bad, and it’s hard for me to be separated from my baby for more than 30 minutes at a time before I start to kind of freak out,” she said in the clip. “I didn’t feel normal in my own body until like over a year after my baby.”

DDG is now asking the court for sole legal and physical custody of their 18-month-old son or a structured visitation schedule where they alternate between two-day and five-day blocks.
