Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu has lashed out at music star Davido over his co-parenting drama with his ex, Sophia Momodu.
Kemi Filani reported during the weekend that Davido had flaunted the bundles of cash he sprayed at his manager, Asa Asika’s wedding.
Reacting to it, Uche questioned when Davido last called or visited his daughter and admonished him to stop living a fake life. He pointed out that Davido brags about having 500,000-dollar diamond teeth and 2 million-dollar jewellery, yet he is dragging his first baby mama to court.
“Davido, Stop living a Fake Lifestyle, when did you call or visit IMADE? You boast of 500K Dollars diamond teeth and 2 million Dollars Jewelry, but, if you were truly that Rich, why you carry my Sophia Sophia go Court over money she requested Wey no reach money for your alleged diamond teeth?”.
In another post, he admonished the music star to invest his wealth in his daughter and not in diamond jewellery.
“Davido, invest your Wealth in IMADE and not in Diamond jewellery. Any Single mum supporting what Davido is doing for my Sophia needs church prayer. Davido claim my Sophia requested an alleged 5 million Naira annually for the Accommodation of IMADE and herself, and also requested 800 Dollars for the Nanny Monthly, Abeg, no be this same Davido that is telling us on social media he got a 500,000 Dollars diamond teeth and 2 Million Dollars jewellery? So, you can afford all this but not the little Mama of your Pikin ask for? Can someone please explain this magic to me again?”.
This isn’t Uche’s first time dragging Davido over Sophia and Momodu.
Last year, Uche had slammed Davido for gifting Ubi Franklin a new car, yet financially torturing Sophia. Telling the singer that Charity begins at home, he stated that Davido is supposed to be paying Sophia N23 million for her house rent. He stated that if he is unfit to do that, then he needs serious prayer.
Davido is currently in a bitter custody battle with Sophia. In June, Davido filed a lawsuit, demanding joint custody of Imade as he claimed Sophia was denying him access to her and was extorting money from him, which she denied. A week later, she had opposed his joint custody battle, citing the death of his son, among others, as reasons the singer is unfit to raise their daughter on his own.
Recall that things turned sour between Davido and Sophia after the singer publicly declared love for his now wife, Chioma Rowland, and reunited with her. This left Sophia infuriated, and she shared a post about a cat not taking rubbish from a dog. She later went on an extensive rant, accusing him of financially abusing her.
She had also shared a screenshot of an emotional chat between her daughter and her grandmother, where she expressed heartbreak over her brother, Ifeanyi’s death, and her father’s neglect, which had caused her profound sadness.
