A Nigerian doctor has caused a stir on social media when she took to X to celebrate after she got the chance to practice as an assistant surgeon.
She posted a picture online to how herself during the procedure
However, what most Nigerians noticed was that she was stitching the patient in near darkness, with an assistant holding a phone with torchlight for her.

As Nigerians questioned why she was operating in darkness, she replied: “This is Nigeria! I don’t know why most of you are surprised!”
