Nollywood actor and politician Desmond Elliot is trending on social media because of his unique outfit for the AMVCA.
Kemi Filani reported on Saturday night that the 11th edition of the prestigious award was held at Eko Hotels and Suites, Lagos and as expected, many celebrities were in attendance.
Desmond attended the event in a ball-like black gown by Nigerian designer Orientãl Wears.
The outfit which caught the attention of netizens has led many to compare him to a priest and ballerina dancers.

Last year, Elliot sparked outrage for distributing perfumes, books, and pencils to Nigerian Youths for the Bye-election. The actor, in a viral video, was captured at an APC rally giving out the said items to their supporters, who were fighting and struggling to receive theirs. He said this was to ease the hardship and predicament in the country.
Back in 2023, while rerunning for Surulere constituency, Desmond had donated transformers for his constituency. The two-term incumbent Surulere representative revealed on social media that he had commissioned the installment of high-capacity transformers in Surulere, to bring reliable electricity to communities that have long needed it”.
