Nollywood actress Sarah Martins has bowed to pressure as she tenders a deep apology to Davido over his new restaurant.
Kemi Filani reported days back that Sarah had slammed Davido over his new restaurant, 5ive. The upcoming actress stated that the superstar singer should have opened the restaurant in his wife Chioma’s name, not his. She explained that Chioma has become well-known for being a good chef. Martins, however, made it known that her opinion was coming from a place of happiness for them and not hate.
Reacting to it, Davido slammed her over her opinion as he made it known that he never opened any restaurant. Davido clarified that 5ive Star Food was a campaign with a food court for his album.
Taking to her Instagram page, the upcoming actress claimed that she was misinformed by food blogger Opeyemi Famakin’s post and apologised for making him feel disrespected.
Sarah made a huge request to Davido, appealing to him to help promote her YouTube channel to his fans. She stated that he could also support her hard work with a shout-out by telling his fans to watch her movie.
“One and only 001 @davido
The king himself, the crown of my sis Chioma, the apple of our eyes ( 30BGs) pls I’m truly sorry if you felt disrespected
Na @opeyemifamakin cause am
I was misinformed by his post.
My movie, My King, dropped today on my YouTube channel, SARAH MARTINS TV. It is a beautiful comic story that is extremely entertaining and hilarious. Do well to watch, laugh, and forgive me.
You can also support my hard work with a shout-out by telling your fans to go watch my movie.
I get faith, you be kind man, and you fit shock me by granting my request”.

Martins’s post obviously wasn’t coming from a place of hate, as the upcoming actress is a die-hard fan of Davido and his wife.
When Davido and Chioma traditionally tied the knot last year, Sarah trolled investigative journalist Kemi Olunloyo for opposing the couple. She urged netizens to check up on the controversial journalist, stating that chest pain was supposed to have wounded the journalist.
Also, before the wedding, Judy Austin’s former bestfriend congratulated Chioma and prayed for her. She noted how their wedding was God’s plan and described Chioma as a good woman who deserves nothing but the best.
