Teyana Taylor has firmly denied ex-husband Iman Shumpert’s accusations that she violated the terms of their divorce settlement by sharing private details online.
Taylor hopped on Instagram Live in March after social media users labeled her a “gold digger.” During the live, she broke down what her financial contributions were during their marriage and revealed she was the breadwinner for most of their relationship.
Taylor denies Shumpert’s claims that her posts caused him financial harm or damaged his public image and that she withdrew their daughters, Junie and Rue Rose, from school without reason or blocked Shumpert from picking them up on April 17.
Iman also accused Taylor of making racially charged remarks in front of their children, but she refuted his claims, calling it “a contemptuous violation.” Shumpert’s camp suggested Taylor was intentionally damaging his relationship with their daughters, but in her filing, Taylor calls his story “a complete fabrication” and asks the court to dismiss his petition in full.
