Shannon Sharpe Cancels Nightcap Tour Amid $50 Million R*pe Lawsuit

Shannon Sharpe is postponing his Nightcap 2025 NSFW tour with Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson as he faces a bombshell $50 million sexual assault lawsuit.

The live podcast tour was initially set to kick off June 13 in Baltimore but has not been rescheduled for summer 2026.

“We’ve decided to postpone the Nightcap tour,” Sharpe revealed during the May 23 episode of their show. “Ocho and I have come to the conclusion that this is the best thing as of right now.”

The eight-city tour was expected to bring their unfiltered takes to fans in cities like Philadelphia, Charlotte, Detroit, and Los Angeles, but Sharpe is focusing his efforts on fighting his legal case.

The lawsuit against him was filed on April 20 in Nevada. Jane Doe alleges that Sharpe sexually assaulted and emotionally abused a woman known as Jane Doe over a turbulent two-year relationship. She accuses him of secretly recording intimate moments, issuing threats, and committing multiple assaults, including an alleged unprotected r*pe in January.

Sharpe has forcefully denied all claims. His attorney, Lanny J. Davis, blasted the suit as “filled with lies” and called it “a cynical attempt to shake down Mr. Sharpe.”
