Popular TikToker and activist, SeaKing, has taken a jab at Martins Vincent Otse, aka VeryDarkMan’s close friend, Itskokopee Ogaga Okokowa (aka Dkokopee), over his involvement in the protest aimed at securing the release of the social media critic.
SeaKing, who appears to have a differing view on VeryDarkMan’s arrest, questioned Dkokopee’s loyalty to his friend. While Dkokopee has been vocal on social media, calling out high-profile individuals to demand VDM’s release, SeaKing pointed out that the singer had failed to participate in the actual protest.
Reports from Gistlover note that on April 5, some Nigerian youths staged a protest in Abuja, marching with placards and chanting against the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over VeryDarkMan’s arrest. However, SeaKing criticized Dkokopee for not attending the physical protest, saying in a now-viral video, “You weren’t there when they arrested VDM, and you didn’t show up for the protest either.”
SeaKing further mocked Dkokopee for claiming that the EFCC was after him because of his advocacy for VeryDarkMan’s release. He dismissed the singer’s assertions, calling him insignificant to the anti-graft agency.
