President Tinubu Passed Security Budget In January, We Don’t Expect Everyone To Be Secure By April – Ondo Senator, Jimoh Ibrahim (Video)

 Jimoh Ibrahim

The lawmaker representing Ondo South in the Senate, Jimoh Ibrahim, has reacted to the insecurity situation in the country, urging Nigerians to be patient with President Bola Tinubu.

Speaking in an Arise TV interview, the senator stated that while President Bola Tinubu approved a security budget earlier in January, expectations for everyone to be secure by April are unrealistic.

Ibrahim emphasised that President Tinubu has not spent two years in office and urged Nigerians to understand that national security is a gradual process that requires everyone’s effort.

“The President passed the security budget in January. We don’t expect everyone to be secure by April,” he said. “He’s not been president for up to two years, and every Nigerian should also know that they owe themselves the responsibility of securing themselves.”
