Nollywood actress Belinda Effah, who changed her name to Grace Chris Bassey, has ditched Nollywood for the Navy.
The movie star announced on her Instagram page that she has officially joined the US Navy. Sharing clips of her at the Navy boot camp, she revealed that she graduated from the camp a week back as a Sailor and took the oath as a citizen of the US.
Belinda admitted that the journey wasn’t easy, but she carried her roots, faith, and vision every step of the way. She noted how Nigeria raised her and how America challenged her.
The actress said she stands stronger and more determined as she expressed gratitude to all who believed in her.

The former singer, via his Instagram page, shared photos of his passport as he revealed that he had also bagged a Lifetime Achievement Award from the former US president, Joe Biden. An overjoyed Tunde described himself as a king and expressed how honoured and blessed he is.
In March, Nigerian singer, Lamboginny officially became a US citizen. The musician expressed gratitude to God and partner, Bambii for standing by him throughout the process. To add to it, Nollywood actor, Osinachi revealed that he had finally gotten his green card to the US. Showing off his passport, Osinachi vowed not to step foot in Nigeria again, as he dared his fans or anyone who ever saw him in Nigeria to bill him.
