Lil Durk’s Legal Team Requests Third Bond Hearing

Lil Durk has been denied bond twice, but his legal team is pushing for a third bond hearing to get the Chicago rapper released from jail ahead of his trial.

Last week, the rapper’s legal team made another powerful move, filing a formal request asking the court to reconsider a previous bond denial and whether he needs to stay locked up while he awaits trial.

The new filing goes straight at Magistrate Judge Patricia Donahue’s May 8 ruling, which denied bond for the second time. Now, his attorney, O’Connor, is taking it up a notch, pushing for a hearing with a district judge to overturn the denials.

Lil Durk’s camp is offering a $2 million bond package to secure his release.

The new proposal guarantees $900K in real estate assets, $1 million in cold cash courtesy of Alamo Records, and another $150K chipped in by a private associate. The package also includes 24/7 private security, round-the-clock GPS monitoring, and complete court oversight.

The judge is yet to rule on the proposal.
