Kim Kardashian Breaks Silence After 8 Are Found Guilty in Paris Robbery Trial

Kim Kardashian has spoken out after eight of the 10 men who were on trial for the 2016 Paris robbery were found guilty.

“I am deeply grateful to the French authorities for pursuing justice in this case,” Kim said. “The crime was the most terrifying experience of my life, leaving a lasting impact on me and my family. While I’ll never forget what happened, I believe in the power of growth and accountability and pray for healing for all. I remain committed to advocating for justice, and promoting a fair legal system.”

Aomar Aït Khedache, the 69-year-old mastermind behind the high-profile heist, received the toughest sentence: eight years in prison, but with five years suspended. The three years he did get credit for were already served, meaning he will not have to spend any more time behind bars.

Yunis Abbas, Didier Dubreucq, and Marc-Alexandre Boyer were hit with seven-year terms, five of them suspended. Like Khedache, they are walking free thanks to time already served. Dubreucq, also 69, didn’t even show up for sentencing as he’s battling cancer and undergoing chemotherapy.

In total, eight people were found guilty. Two others accused of leaking Kardashian’s Paris location walked free after being acquitted.
