After months of beefing online, Playboi Carti and Kanye West are reportedly planning to link up, signaling the end of their feud.
“Ye is in touch with Fritz [Owens]. I think we’re going to see a reunion soon. Hopefully. I don’t like to see my brothers separate,” Digital Nas told Sneako.
Owens is an artist and producer and is a close affiliate of Carti’s.

Ye first started lashing out at Carti after Carti excluded West from his album Music, leading Ye to blast his former friend and frequent collaborator publicly. He accused Carti of sidelining him due to some of his anti-semitic comments and took issue with Carti’s request for his daughter, North West, to contribute vocals to a track.
“I DECIDED NORTH WONT BE DOING ANY SONGS WITH CARTI HOW IT LOOK FOR ME TO GET LEFT OFF THE ALBUM AND THEN HE ASK KIM TO HAVE VOCALS FROM MY DAUGHTER,” Ye wrote at the time. “I DONT A F–K ABOUT NONE OF THIS INDUSTRY SHIT AND HOW ITS A SKIMS LINE IN THE FIRST PLACE AND I DONT GIVE A F–K WHAT NO COMMENTS THE MAN HAS THE FIRST AND FINAL SAY OVER HIS KIDS.”
Things further escalated when Ye alleged that Carti confronted him at the Chateau Marmont hotel with a firearm, a claim that added a serious dimension to their conflict.
