Jennifer Odonwodo, the widow of late Nollywood actor Junior Pope, has taken to social media with a bold message aimed at the forces of darkness.
She posted a striking photo of herself sticking out her tongue and captioned it with the words “Ekwensu Ntorrrrrrrr,” a mocking phrase in Igbo which roughly translates to “Shame on the devil.”
Her post comes weeks after the tragic death of her husband, Junior Pope, who passed away on April 10, 2024, in a boat accident while returning from a movie location.
In other news, The management team of fast-rising Nollywood actor Godwin Nnadiekwe has released an official update concerning his health following an incident involving popular actor Zubby Michael during a film shoot.
It was earlier reported that Nnadiekwe was hospitalized after being struck by Zubby Michael while on set. In a statement shared by his team, they revealed that Godwin’s current condition may have been worsened by a previous chest injury sustained in December 2023.
According to the management, the actor suffered a severe chest injury in a gym accident involving a fallen weight, which required nearly two months of recovery.
The statement reads in part:
