Nollywood actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele was the symbol of royalty and elegance at her colleague, Iyabo Ojo’s daughter’s grand wedding finale.
The box office Queen shared photos of her stunning outfit for the event on her Instagram page. Funke was dressed in a gold dress, which is the theme of the wedding.
In her caption, she disclosed that Iyabo told her to go gold or go home, so she obeyed.

Kemi Filani reported on Monday that Akindele was on her way to Tanzania for the grand wedding finale of Priscilla Ojo and her Tanzanian boyfriend, Juma Jux. In a viral clip online, Funke was seen at the airport with Jayeola Monje at the airport.
The actresses finally arrived in the country on Tuesday and were received in grand style by Iyabo Ojo. In an online clip, Iyabo was seen hugging Funke as she presented her with flowers and a cape.
Sharing clips from her grand welcome to Tanzania ok her Instagram page, Funke hailed Iyabo as she congratulated her on her daughter’s wedding.
In an online video, the filmmaker was captured with Priscilla as she praised her for making them proud. Funke appreciated the news, Mrs, for not just being beautiful without brains. She further appreciated her for her hard work and staying out of controversies and prayed for her.
During Priscilla’s traditional and white wedding in Nigeria, Funke was noticeably absent as she was away from the country. She had however congratulated the bride and her husband as she rained prayers on the couple. She also expressed how honoured she was to celebrate the special moment with her, noting how Priscilla’s happiness is a testament to her love and dedication as a mother.
After Priscilla’s wedding, Funke lamented her absence and expressed sadness at missing the event.
