As Closer Weekly’s article revealed, the second actor was announced to be joining Boston Blue’s cast was Ernie Hudson. The article also contained CBS’ description of the character that Ernie will be playing as a part of Boston Blue’s cast.

An open-minded, welcoming man that is comfortable in all traditions, he is happy to preside at his church’s traditional Sunday Baptist service.
