Deji Adeyanju, the legal representative of outspoken social media critic Martins Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has recently been recognised for his humanitarian efforts.
Taking to his social media page, Adeyanju shared photos from two separate award ceremonies where he was honoured for his service to humanity. One of the images showed him receiving a medal, while another captured him addressing the audience during the event.
“Two different events where I was conferred with awards for service to humanity” he captioned the post, expressing gratitude for the recognition.
Meanwhile, Adeyanju has also been in the spotlight due to his involvement in securing the release of his client, VeryDarkMan, from the custody of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). He revealed that Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Femi Falana, played a behind-the-scenes role by making multiple calls to challenge the alleged unlawful detention.
This came after Adeyanju publicly called out Falana for his initial silence on the matter. The lawyer also disclosed ongoing plans to pursue legal action against GTBank over their role in VeryDarkMan’s arrest.
