Chris Brown Denied Bail Over UK Bottle Attack Arrest

Chris Brown will remain in custody in a UK jail until his next court appearance next month after he was arrested last Friday over a 2023 nightclub incident.

The star has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent following an investigation by the Metropolitan Police of London. Producer Amadou “Abe” Diaw alleges that the assault took place at a London nightclub on February 19, 2023. Brown allegedly hit Diaw with a bottle several times while kicking him and throwing blows.

Diaw also alleged that Brown had “brutally assaulted” him by “beating him over the head” with a large bottle of Don Julio tequila. He says the beating was so severe that even when he was unconscious, Brown allegedly began to “stomp” on him for approximately 30 seconds.

He says he suffered several long-lasting injuries. If found guilty, Brown could spend up to 16 years behind bars.
