Cassie Testifies Diddy Settled Her R*pe Lawsuit for $20 Million

During Wednesday’s testimony against Sean “Diddy” Combs in his RICO trial, Cassie Ventura revealed the disgraced music mogul paid her $20 million to settle the rape lawsuit she filed against him in November 2023.

Cassie testified that she finally walked away from Diddy in 2018. She detailed a night she shared with Combs after they broke up in 2018, when shortly after, they met up to have dinner in Malibu to find “closure.”

She says her ex drove her back to her apartment, and things took a turn.

“He raped me in my living room,” she told the courtroom. “I remember crying, saying no, but it was very fast.”

She says his eyes turned black during the alleged attack and that she repeatedly told him “no” but he did not listen.

Cassie reportedly turned to trauma therapy and rehab in the wake of her explosive split from Diddy. After completing treatment, the singer started writing a memoir with the help of her mother.

According to Cassie, the book wasn’t just for the public. It was for Diddy.

“I wanted him to understand the pain he put me through,” she said.

She claims her attorney sent a copy of the manuscript to Combs’ camp. “It wasn’t taken seriously,” she recalled. “I wanted to be compensated for the many, many years — and the pain.”

She was asked how much the mogul paid her and she confirmed it was $20 million.

“I’m here to do the right thing. I can’t carry this anymore … the shame, the guilt,” she replied when asked about why she was testifying against him.
