Cameroon Voters Allegedly Collect Juice And $5 to Vote 92-year-old Who Ruled for 40 Years

Cameroonians have left people shocked after allegedly collecting a bottle of juice and less than $5 in exchange to vote for a 92-year-old Paul Biya who has ruled the country for 40 years.

This was revealed in a video shared on X by user @Joe__Bassey.

According to the post, both men and women were seen standing in line to receive the items before casting their votes.

See some reactions below:

@ladi_etti: “How can African countries support each other to get rid of the likes of Tinubu, Biya and Ruto? One at a time. Especially now we see how problems in one country can affect the whole continent.”

@sasmanic: “Cameroun have one of the most dumbest of people on earth. Except for Southwest and northwest cameroun.”

@nellycentz: “I hide such videos from my colleagues here in the US. It gives most of them racists something to feed on.”

@MarvinAgunkwo: “He said he wanted to retire but the people said he should run again. These retarded leaders are killing me. It’s the same all over Africa. They take us as fools, I don’t blame them anyways.”

@RolandNGabriel: “This is why they love democracy so much. So that they can weaponize the poverty they kept in the land and keep the evil puppets in power. Enough.”

@EdorheJones: “Nothing to see here just naive Africans collecting food they will eat for the next 4 years.”
