Claressa Shields is spilling more tea about her relationship with rapper Papoose and says that he was the one who made the first move.
During a sit-down with Angela Yee, the boxing champion was asked about who approached whom.
“It was Pap for sure… and when we took our first picture, it started going, I seen the blogs then talkin’ about that potentially I was his girlfriend. I was like, ‘I don’t even know this dude,”” she shared.
Shields says that they were not “sneaking around” to hide their relationship from fans or from his ex, Remy Ma, but explained why her boyfriend is not addressing some of the rumors circulating online.
“When you’re in a public relationship, right? Everybody’s, ‘oh, couple goals. We love y’all. We love y’all.’ And then you break up, the fans feel like you owe them an explanation on your life on why you broke up with somebody,” she said.
Remy Ma has moved on and is dating Philly battle rapper, Eazy The Block Captain, who was rumored to be dating Remy before she officially split from Pap…something Remy has denied.
