Nollywood actress Rita Edochie has pointed out the importance of a woman in a home.
In a lengthy post on her Instagram page, she stated that 99 per cent of the success of every home is due to right-thinking women. According to her, women are the stamina, providing the foundation upon which families are built.
She made it known that women’s influence is profound, shaping the values, morals, and character of their loved ones. She added that women’s contributions are invaluable, their impact immeasurable, and their love unconditional.
“99 per cent of the success of every home is to the credit of every right-thinking woman (Monogamous homes, I meant, though).
The woman is the stamina of every home, providing the foundation upon which families are built.
Her influence is profound, shaping the values, morals and character of her loved ones. Behind every successful home, there lies an unsung hero who toils tirelessly, often without recognition or accolades.
This hero is none other than the woman of the house, who brings unwavering dedication, unrelenting passion, and unshakeable resilience to the table.
It is estimated that a staggering 99% of every home’s success can be attributed to the selfless efforts of these remarkable women. From managing households to nurturing families, women are pivotal in creating a haven of love, care and warmth.
Their contributions are invaluable, their impact immeasurable, and their love unconditional. As we celebrate the women who make our homes shine, let us honour their strength, courage and resilience”.

Last month, Yul Edochie’s aunt cautioned married men against treating their wives badly because of a roaming side chick. She told them that when they are old, they will value the women they mistreated. She also admonished the opposite gënder not to trade the love, loyalty, and commitment of their wives for a fleeting affair with a side chick.
The sister-in-law of Pete Edochie had sent a message to men with crashed marriages. She told them that when their homes crumble, they can’t point fingers and should bear the weight of responsibility. She made them know that their actions, decisions, and leadership shape the foundation of their family, as she gave them a list of things they must do to lead their household.
In another post, Rita had lashed out at married men who keep their exes as their best friends. She questioned why such men didn’t end up with their exes if they loved them or valued their friendship. Slamming them for going back to their vomit, she questioned if they had ever thought about the mental and emotional stress it imposes on their wives.
