90 Day Diaries Season 6’s Jenny And Sumit Face A New Hurdle In Their Relationship
Jenny Has No Choice But To Move In With Sumit’s Parents
In Episode 10 of 90 Day Diaries Season 6, we catch up with now married couple, Jenny Slatten and Sumit Singh. These two have come a long way as Jenny has finally found common ground and even a friendship with Sumit’s mother, who long disapproved of her son marrying a woman 30 years older than him.
Now, the couple are preparing to commit to each other once again with a vow renewal ceremony. While things are great with Sumit’s parents, the couple struggle with how to afford their apartment after Sumit lost his job as a chef. However, he came up with the idea of moving in with his parents.
“You will get a best friend forever with my mother. Like, you don’t have any other friend and, you know, like who don’t want to live with their best friend,” he tells her.
Sumit adds that it’ll be a great idea for them since living in privacy is “mainly for depressed people.”
Sumit is 35-years-old and Jenny is 65-years-old.
Jenny has a lot of reservations about this. She’s 65 and about to live with her husband’s parents, knowing that she can’t do certain things around them. Sumit is eager to move in, and they really have no choice as their apartment is just too much money.
Jenny gives in, knowing that it’s a good idea for now. “It’s going to impact our independence as a couple because we are not going to be free to hug and kiss and sit together,” she tells the camera. Two days later, the couple have their vow-renewal ceremony after being married for 3 years. Sumit’s mother puts an anklet on Jenny, which shows that she’s accepting of her.
“It’s something I thought would never happen. It’s all I ever wanted,” Jenny shares after a long road for approval.
At their ceremonies, Sumit tells his parents about moving in with them and they are overjoyed. However, only time will tell id Jenny can last living with his parents for “forever,” as he puts it.

Ashley Prepares To Compete In A Body Building Competition After Losing Over 100 Pounds
Manuel Wasn’t Too Happy About Her New Life Venture
After catching up on Jenny and Sumit’s latest life updates, the focus shifts to married couple, Ashley Michelle and Manuel Velez. Fans last saw them on the spinoff, 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After? Season 8, where the couple frequently clashed over financial issues and Manuel’s failure to inform his family and children that he had moved to the U.S. Fans doubted their relationship would work but, they are very much still together.
Now, Ashley is flaunting her new body after losing over 100 pounds. They are seen at the airport and heading to Texas, where she will compete in a bodybuilding competition for people who had lost a significant amount of weight.
“I decided to do the bodybuilding competition as a celebration of all the weight that I’ve lost and I’ve lost 126 pounds.”
Manuel seemed proud of his wife for this major milestone while at the airport. However, he expressed reservations about Ashley becoming too muscly and did not find it attractive.
“But to have muscles? No,” Manuel begins. “Very ugly. I don’t want muscles on your body.”
In a confessional, Ashley finds it “petty” that Manuel would share this with her, especially after all the effort she’s put into achieving her body goals. This could lead to another major conflict with the couple as they have been known to butt heads. Still, fans doubt Ashley will walk away from her newfound venture—especially since it’s brought her so much happiness.
“I am not going to let him get in my head. I got this. I’ve worked hard for this and nobody’s going to take this moment from me,” she shares.
Ashley takes the stage of the bodybuilding competition and ends up taking 8th place. Although Manuel tells her he’s “proud of her,” he still isn’t completely satisfied with the idea that his wife will pack on more muscles than him.
