The feud between Azealia Banks and rapper Wale has been reignited after the “212” hopped on X, formerly Twitter, to diss his career.
Banks fired the first shot after Wale posted the following tweet:
“I’m not sellin my soul. I’m not playin them other games either .. ain’t no ‘era’ I ain’t never stopped… hope this helps wit the nostalgia bait,” he wrote.
Banks hopped into his mentions, accusing the rapper of not having any hits and claiming that his music style is “generic.”
“N—a the only hot song you ever made is ‘ridin in that black joint.’ It’s no shade. But ur rap swag and delivery and persona got something off in a very generic type of way. It’s highkey cause u African no shade. U shoulda been African T-pain.”
Wale clapped back, “Ngl … the chicken butcher lady sayin my only hit is off a video game I never played before is funny af… I don’t even think that song is on dsp. We Stan,” he continued, referring to Banks, who practices Brujeria, reportedly sacrificing live chickens in her closet.

Banks wasn’t done yet, bringing up a past accusation about Wale allegedly having a “period panty fetish” and taking aim at his artistic direction throughout his career.
Wale retaliated by putting her on blast for constantly playing internet critic. “My favorite thing on this app is you tellin everybody what they should be doing,” he wrote. “Life is hard af and yet you find time to tell everybody everywhere all the time how to do things … you are way too kind to us.”
